Arizona Department of Transportation DBE Program Update

The Arizona Department of Transportation receives between $700 million and $1.5 billion annually for federally assisted projects. This work is primarily related to horizontal construction but is expanding into professional services, general procurement, and some maintenance activities.

In the coming months ADOT will be assessing all federally assisted projects for DBE participation goals. This is a significant change to the way the state DOT solicits, awards, and monitors contracts. Arizona General Contractors and the small, women, and minority subcontracting community will be greatly impacted by these changes.

Agencies throughout the state of Arizona that receive funds from ADOT for transportation projects will also be impacted by these changes.

Join the Arizona Contractors Association for a special presentation by Melissa Boyles, ADOT DBE Supportive Services Program Manager, to learn more about the coming changes.
