Introduction to the Program
The ADOT-DBE Business Management Graduate Program is case-study based program designed to stimulate the participants’ ability to think and convey information, knowledge and business principles. The course is formatted to encourage class interaction, integrating the collective experience and knowledge of the participants as they draw new information from facilitators and instructors. The ADOT-DBE Graduate Business Management Course is a room full of experts–you, the participants.
A single case is used that weaves through all of the learning objectives for the length of the program. You will be the owner/managers of the case study company, dealing with such items as financial issues, planning, human resources and marketing as the case develops. In this simulated business-like atmosphere and environment you will learn more, through this hands-on approach, than is possible with twice the time spent listening to a lecture. The case study exercise simulates real world business experiences and gives the participants a chance to tackle much larger issues, such as those that affect the entire organizations and subjects. The course aims to teach participants to work within their organizations, peers and groups, gathering information and gaining consensus within specific time frames.
